How hiring works here.
Federal hiring follows awards. When a program starts, we need people quickly and we look at the talent network first. That is why you will sometimes find live roles here and sometimes not, and why joining the network is the fastest route in either way.
Every live role we post states the location, whether it requires a clearance, and whether it involves deployment to a site. We do not post roles we are not actually hiring for, and we do not collect resumes for a bench.

On a small team nobody is the fourth person on a task. You get a piece of a program and you own it, which means the work is visible and so is doing it well.
You are not alone on site
Field technicians deploy with a plan, a point of contact, and engineers behind them. When something goes sideways at 2am, someone picks up.
We say what we know
If a program is at risk, you hear it from us. If a placement might end, you hear that too, early enough to plan. We would rather lose someone honestly than keep them in the dark.
Engineering people run the company
The person deciding what we bid has built networks. Technical arguments get settled on the merits rather than by whoever outranks whom.

- Set against the labor category and the location for the specific program. We give you the range in the first conversation rather than at the offer stage.
- Benefits
- The benefits package is confirmed in writing with your offer, so you are comparing real numbers rather than a web page.
- Deployments
- Duration, location, travel, and lodging arrangements are agreed in writing before you accept a placement. No surprises after you land.
- Clearances
- Where a role requires an active clearance, the posting says so and names it. Where it does not, do not assume you are ineligible.
- Base locations
- Washington, DC, plus customer sites across the United States and overseas depending on the program.
- Training
- Certifications matter in this market. We talk about which ones are worth your time for the programs we run, in the first conversation.

It depends on the program. Where a role requires a clearance, the job posting will say so and state which one. Do not assume you are ineligible if you do not hold one.
For field technician roles it means being placed at a customer site for the length of the task rather than flying in and out. Duration, location, travel, and lodging are agreed in writing before you accept a placement.
Pay is set against the labor category and the location for the specific program, and the number is in the written offer. We will tell you the range for a role during the first conversation rather than at the end.
The benefits package is confirmed in writing with your offer. On deployments, travel and lodging arrangements are agreed before you go, in writing.
